It is a 3 bedroom, terraced house. The property has a large lounge/dining room, a
fitted kitchen, 3 bedrooms, gardens to the front and rear and on street
parking. The house has gas central
heating and double glazing.
The bit of investigation relates to the bathroom – the
floor plan says that there is a bathroom but the floor plan looks a bit odd so
I wouldn’t assume it is correct, the description does not mention anything to
do with a bathroom and the photo only show a free standing shower. If I was a betting man (which I am not!), I
would bet that there is a shower room rather than a bathroom. I raise this point because, being a family
house, renters are likely to want a bath (even if they never use it!) so you
may end up having to put a bath back into the property.
The house has been re-harled which is generally a sign
that it has had energy saving insulation installed, worth also checking this
out.
The decor is fairly neutral although you may want to tone
down some of the purples especially in the bedrooms.

This house is on the market with Zing Properties for offers over £99,500
so let’s say it goes for £110,000. A house
like this in this area should rent for £800 pcm so that gets you to a yield of 8.7%.
